Rachel and Ben's wedding finally arrived! It was a busy fun-filled weekend (and a wee bit stress-filled as well) but it was unforgettable. Highlights: sitting in the temple with all of my siblings and my mama, Rachel's amazing dress, Selle calming down an almost Bridezilla, one of my besties as the very pregnant photographer, the FREEZING day and even colder night, finding Jackson sitting alone in his underwear in Lala's recliner instead of dancing, me forgetting to change the capo on the guitar and singing the whole song out of key, Ben's cute reaction to Rachel's song for him, "Gangham Style", the comments about Rachel's new last name being the same as my mom's maiden name, the yummy barbecue and corn casserole, a conga line in my slippers, forgetting to take pictures of us 6 kids and mom during the wedding and getting completely re-dressed the next day to make sure it happened, Lydi adoringly holding Rachel's dress every chance she could, Taylor and Gwenny in their curlers, Jarom and Matt's bonding time (since me and Jenni were so busy), giving Nana the canvas print of Grandpa and her and seeing her emotion, the awesome dance floor Mike built, oh oh yeah this was so cute: we ran into Ben walking into the temple and he knew she didn't want him to see her so he was closing his eyes. But once we got inside we found out they had to see each other anyway. It was cute to see his eyes light up and tell her how beautiful she is. We are so happy to have Ben in the family. My kids adore him and he is a wonderful addition!
